She sustained severe head trauma at the theme park in California. Bonnye Lear, 60, an administrator at Club 33 from Fullerton, CA, was injured in a backstage accident on Wednesday, June 5th and as a result the Disneyland employee dies golf cart.
Aftermath Of The Incident
As stated by the police, the first responders arrived at Disneyland Resort just prior to 11:30 a.m. in response to a traffic collision that occurred backstage. Lear was discovered to be in critical condition following the incident and was subsequently transported to a local hospital. Tragically, on June 7, two days after the incident, she succumbed to her injuries. And a Disneyland employee dies golf cart. The Anaheim Police Traffic Detectives, who were also present at the scene of the collision, after presently conducting an investigation into the incident that resulted in Lear’s passing, according to police reports.
Disneyland Authority Statement
Ken Potrock, the President of the Disneyland Resort, expressed his condolences and stated that the company is committed to providing support for Bonnye’s family and coworkers.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bonnye and extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone who cared for her,” Potrock declared in a statement. “Our primary focus now is to provide unwavering support to her family and our cast members during this tragic event and ensure they have all the necessary resources.”
According To Lear’s Colleague
Rae Delgado, a fellow Disney cast member, shared on Facebook that Lear had sustained a fractured skull and brain swelling as a result of the incident. Delgado reported that Lear was riding on the back of a golf cart with three other passengers when they encountered a bump. Lear reacted immediately by reaching for a handrail, which unfortunately gave way and caused her to be ejected from the vehicle. And unfortunately the Disneyland employee dies golf cart. Delgado mentioned that despite undergoing surgery to prevent further damage, the situation was already quite severe.
